As Singapore’s largest park, East Coast Park boasts a scenic coastline and year-long breeze, and is an icon in the Eastern part of Singapore. Public spaces are interwoven into the natural landscape, and the park is always bustling with activities from day till night. The flurry of activities enjoyed by park goers – morning jogs, wakeboarding, cycling, picnics, camping – against the idyllic backdrop of sun, sea, sand and swaying coconut palms gave inspiration to this artwork.

At only 728km², Singapore is one of the smallest countries in the world. What we don’t have in land area, we more than make up for it through conservation of our heritage, preservation of natural landscapes and enhancement through the built environment. The ‘One Degree North’ collection is inspired by memorable landmarks around Singapore, each telling a story about the area/landmark and also its significance to Singapore.
